Nebo has been enrolled with Google Workspace for Education since 2011.  This service provides Nebo with the core services of Email, Google Office, Drive, Calendar and Google Sites.  These core services are tightly controlled in terms of what Google will do with any data collected by their usage.

Starting in 2025, educational institutions using Google Workspace for Education must annually review and reconfirm parental consent for students grade 7 and under to access Google Workspace Additional Services. These services include tools and features that can enhance learning and collaboration, but are not part of the core Google Education Suite.

Google Services Opt In Information

Student access to YouTube is a valuable learning tool when used responsibly under a teacher’s guidance. Teachers use it to introduce new ideas, provide visual examples, and share expert explanations that help students better understand classroom concepts. Access to YouTube is for educational purposes as directed by the teacher. Videos are typically embedded in Google Slides or Canvas, so students don’t need to access the main YouTube website.

Opting out will prevent your student from accessing YouTube for educational purposes.
